Soccer Game Preview: Murrieta Mesa vs. Chaparral

The Murrieta Mesa Rams will take on the Chaparral Pumas at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Murrieta Mesa is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 26. They and Great Oak finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to Vista Murrieta. While losing is never fun, the Pumas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 921st, while the Broncos are ranked 96th).

With that draw, Murrieta Mesa's record moves to 3-7-2. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1.
