Jacob Clamp Game Report: vs Newberry Academy

For the first time in his career, Jacob Clamp scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, helping propel King Academy past Newberry Academy by a score of 48-6. Clamp's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Looking ahead, Clamp and King Academy will head out to challenge Laurens Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Clamp up against the Crusaders' star running back Caleb Hardy. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
