After losing to Tulare Western the last time they met, Sierra decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chieftains walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chieftains.

Mia Bautista paced Sierra's offense, picking up eight kills. Bautista were helped by Brooke Gibson and Nicole Gibson, who contributed ten assists each. Maci Watt controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Sierra's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Tulare Western, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
