Snook proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Somerville Yeguas, sneaking past 8-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 22-16 last Tuesday.

Snook's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Lacaze, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Adrian Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Snook's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15. As for Somerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Snook didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 loss against Milano on the 8th. As for Somerville, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Burton on the 8th.
