Volleyball Recap: Birchwood Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Birchwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles, falling 3-0. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles/Lady Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Birchwood Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-14.

Birchwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Birchwood Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against King Cove on the 8th. As for Sand Point, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Nenana at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
