Citrus Hill had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Redlands Terriers by a score of 35-27 on Thursday. The game was the first time the Hawks have beaten the Terriers on their field since November 20, 2015.

John Guitron threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes. Kalen Stephens was his top target, picking up 119 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Demerius Norman rushed for 89 yards and a pair of scores.

Despite the loss, Redlands still got an impressive performance from Anthony Fraire, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 341 yards and a pair of TDs. 108 of those passing yards were hauled in by Collier Colbert, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Citrus Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-6 win against Miller on the 28th. As for Redlands, they have also already played their next matchup, a 28-20 victory against Banning on the 28th.
