Basketball Recap: South Seneca Comes Up Short

South Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Naples Big Green Machines, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Green Machines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-29 last Friday.

South Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Naples, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Coming up, South Seneca is taking a road trip to challenge Dundee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dundee's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so South Seneca's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Naples, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Romulus at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Romulus: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Naples has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
