 PikeView was the  11-1 winner over Nicholas County when they last played one another  back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The PikeView Panthers lost  11-3 to the Nicholas County Grizzlies on Friday. PikeView has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Jared Vestal made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon Wyatt, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 On Nicholas County's side,  Cole Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Brown has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Brown was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Coleton Hellems was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Grayson Kesterson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 PikeView's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Nicholas County, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season.
 PikeView didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  11-1  victory vs. WestSide on the 27th. As for Nicholas County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Greenbrier West at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams will come into the  match having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
