Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Patriots vs. Inglemoor Vikings

The Liberty Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Inglemoor Vikings at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Liberty took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down Bellevue 57-39.

Meanwhile, Inglemoor had just enough and edged Issaquah out 32-30 on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Eagles are ranked 13th).

The win made it two in a row for Inglemoor and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Liberty, they are also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Liberty didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Inglemoor in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
