Softball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Marcos Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Tritons have lost by exactly five runs.

Aubrey Colvin and Kelsey Colvin stepped up to the plate in a big way. Aubrey went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Kelsey scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for San Marcos, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

While Pacifica had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
