Benton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Pinckneyville Panthers to the tune of 56-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rangers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Panthers are ranked 380th).

Benton's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Pinckneyville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
