Volleyball Recap: Hoxie Now 4-2 Since Losing 5 Straight

If Hoxie was feeling good off their 3-0 takedown of Rivercrest on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Newport Greyhounds on Saturday.

Hoxie is now 8-16, having gone 4-2 since their five-game losing streak ended. As for Newport, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Hoxie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newport, they will challenge Harrisburg at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight.
