Volleyball Recap: Pace Takes a Loss

Pace lost against Rowe back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

While Pace was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Rowe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leana Palacios led the charge by getting five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Palacios has posted since back in September of 2024.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Pace has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cigarroa on the 15th. As for Rowe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against San Benito on the 12th.
