Preview: McCluer North vs. Sikeston
McCluer North will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Sikeston at 4:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
McCluer North had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-63 to Edwardsville. McCluer North were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-49.
Meanwhile, Sikeston took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Vashon 64-0.
Sikeston's win lifted them to 1-0 while McCluer North's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Sikeston can add another positive mark to their record or if McCluer North can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Sikeston's step.
