The Delta Rabbits will face off against the Enterprise Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Delta will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Delta's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past South Summit 10-0. Considering the Rabbits have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mason Robinson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kyler Davies, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ashton Stefanoff, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Delta was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .360 or higher in three consecutive games.
Enterprise never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Duchesne on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wolves' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Chase Crouch tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Enterprise let Julian Jones and Koleman Styler run wild. Jones went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Styler went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Jack Moyle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Delta's record now sits at 6-0. As for Enterprise, their record is now 2-6.
Enterprise's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Delta has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .508. It's a different story for Enterprise, though, as they've only averaged .358. Will they be able to contain Delta's hitters?
Delta couldn't quite finish off Enterprise when the teams last played back in March of 2018 and fell 9-7. Can the Rabbits avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
