Soccer Recap: J.R. Tucker Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hermitage last Friday, J.R. Tucker came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of Maggie Walker by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Maggie Walker this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

J.R. Tucker has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Maggie Walker, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.R. Tucker will venture away from home to take on Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maggie Walker, they will head out to face off against Culpeper County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
