The East Chicago Central Cardinals's six-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They secured a 34-30 W over South Bend Riley. This was payback for East Chicago Central, who suffered a 36-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.
South Bend Riley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Serenity Farmer, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tory Harmon, who scored eight points.
