Softball Recap: Big Foot Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Big Foot's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brodhead Cardinals on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Chiefs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Big Foot's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Brodhead, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Big Foot is set to challenge their familiar foe Evansville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brodhead will face off against rival Edgerton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
