Volleyball Recap: DSST: Conservatory Green Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

DSST: Conservatory Green had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Gateway on Tuesday. The Hornets blew past the Olympians 3-0. The Hornets were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Olympians, so the Hornets were just returning the favor.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-20, 28-26.

Manuel Lucero paced DSST: Conservatory Green's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lucero got some help from Miqueas Amador and his 22 assists. Finally, Lucero was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Despite the loss, Gateway still got an impressive performance from Arpan Subedi, who had ten digs and four aces.
