Softball Recap: Neshoba Central Extends Winning Streak to Six

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Neshoba Central walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Center Hill Mustangs with a sharp 18-6 win on Thursday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Neshoba Central's sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Center Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Neshoba Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-5 victory against Center Hill on the 24th. The Mustangs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
