Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Clayton, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 15-3-1.
Clayton beat Cleveland by a goal in their previous meeting on October 6th, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
