Basketball Game Preview: Wakefield Warriors vs. Westfield Bulldogs

The Wakefield Warriors will head out to face off against the Westfield Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wakefield beat Herndon 49-44.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Westfield walked away with it. They walked away with a 56-46 win over the Seahawks on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight games in a row.

Westfield pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Wakefield, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Wakefield suffered a grim 64-42 defeat to Westfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Wakefield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
