Catalina Foothills is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Cienega just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Casa Grande entered their tilt with Metro Tech on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Knights 9-1. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by eight goals or more this season.

Casa Grande's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Catalina Foothills, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Catalina Foothills took their victory against Casa Grande in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Catalina Foothills since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
