Basketball Recap: Newberry Comes Up Short

Newberry lost against Brimley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Newberry Indians took a blow against the Brimley Bays, falling 75-45. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newberry's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Brimley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newberry will host St. Ignace at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newberry is facing St. Ignace at the right time seeing as St. Ignace is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Brimley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedarville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
