Basketball Game Preview: Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights vs. Union Grove Christian Patriots

Two dominant guards in Dominic Ducato and Calvin Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Union Grove Christian Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Georgia Force Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Georgia Force Christian turned things around against Galloway back in November. They came out on top against the Scots by a score of 58-47.

Georgia Force Christian can attribute much of their success to Tyler Golden, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave Golden a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taj Olaves, who posted three points and six boards.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Union Grove Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over Alamance Christian on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since February 8th.

Union Grove Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Georgia Force Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
