Basketball Recap: Warsaw W Takes a Loss

Warsaw W lost against Gospel Haven Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warsaw W Warriors were dealt a 58-14 loss at the hands of Gospel Haven Academy. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 828th, while Gospel Haven Academy are ranked 147th).

Noah Hurley was Warsaw W's leading scorer, having posted six points. Gavin Gress held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Warsaw W's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11. As for Gospel Haven Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Warsaw W has already played their next contest (against Kingsway Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gospel Haven Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Reimer Road Baptist Christian on February 27th.
