Grant Kuntz Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Fleming got the W thanks in part to Grant Kuntz playing the best football he has all season. Kuntz wasn't messing around, rushing for 340 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 18.9 yards per carry. The game was his seventh straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 65 yards.
The win (which was Fleming's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Kuntz and Fleming will take on Idalia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Lane Schock stepped things up a notch to give Prairie the 'W'. Peetz had no answer to Schock as he rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Schock's longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Prairie's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. Schock and Prairie will face off against Stratton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Justin Schreiner's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Justin Schreiner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 108 rushing yards in the fifth games prior. He also punched in four rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Prairie is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
This year, Schreiner has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 34.71 rushing yards per game.

North Park Gets a Boost from Pittington in 41-8 Victory
Gavin Pittington helped snap North Park's ten-game losing streak dating back to last season. Pittington did his part (and then some), rushing for 262 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also catching a touchdown for the 'W'. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Weldon Valley's probably not too fond of Pittington given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Pittington saw the Warriors), he rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.

Fleming picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Conner Marchant. Marchant turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This season, Marchant has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 78.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 7.5 rushing yards per game.
