Softball Recap: Berlin Redcoats vs. Bristol Central Rams
There's no place like home for Berlin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Bristol Central Rams 18-6 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Redcoats, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Callie Jehning made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Julia Matan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Elizabeth Cugno was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs.
