Recap: Drumright vs. Barnsdall
Barnsdall were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Drumright 55-6. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Barnsdall are ranked far ahead of Drumright in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Barnsdall's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 47 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Drumright couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 47-0 heading into the break. The Barnsdall defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the match. The win bumped their record up to 4-0. Drumright are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Barnsdall take on Hominy at 7:00 PM. Hominy will need to watch out since Hominy have now posted big point totals in their last 3 contests. As for Drumright, they will face off against Tonkawa. Drumright come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
