Basketball Recap: Midwest Takes a Loss

Midwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Arvada-Clearmont Panthers, falling 49-29. If the Oilers were looking for revenge after losing 45-39 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Midwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Arvada-Clearmont, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midwest will take on Casper Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arvada-Clearmont, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
