Volleyball Recap: David Crockett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

David Crockett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tennessee Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-4, 25-12.

Leading Tennessee to victory were Camden Ward and Bree Adams. Ward had eight digs and one assist, while Adams hit 83.3% for five kills and eight digs and three aces. The last time Adams' hitting percentage was this high was back in August. Emma Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

David Crockett's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Tennessee, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. David Crockett is set to take on their familiar foe Dobyns-Bennett at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tennessee will face off against rival Science Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
