Softball Game Preview: Caston Comets vs. Peru Tigers

Twin Lakes hit Caston with a six-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets came up short against the Indians, falling 15-5.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Peru finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mississinewa. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Peru saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Steele, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Caston's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Peru, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
