Basketball Recap: Garner Comes Up Short

Garner entered their matchup against Clayton on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Garner Trojans came up short against the Clayton Comets, falling 72-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since December 27, 2023.

Garner's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Clayton, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-8.

As of now, neither Garner nor Clayton have any future games scheduled.
