Jermaine Nance Delivers Electric Performance Vs Lincoln
Starting off the list is Kimball's Jermaine Nance, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nance rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run.
The win (which was Kimball's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Nance and Kimball will take on St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Devin Rasmussen Delivers Best Effort of Season
Devin Rasmussen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Edison to the win on Friday. Rasmussen threw for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 33 yards.
Edison moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Rasmussen and Edison will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on October 18th.

Jordin Thomas Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Lincoln had to settle for second even though Jordin Thomas put up the best numbers he has all season. Thomas rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.8) per game. Lincoln is 2-1 when Thomas posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
Thomas is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Tracy on Friday. When Thomas last faced the Bulldogs back in September of 2023, he rushed for 224 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.2 yards per carry.
