Volleyball Recap: Tivy Takes a Loss

Tivy lost against Boerne-Champion back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tivy Antlers came up short against the Boerne-Champion Chargers, falling 3-0. The Antlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tivy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Boerne-Champion work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Reelyn Andreas paced Tivy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Andreas got some help from Madellyn Fiedler and her 17 assists. Fiedler also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylie Coates, racking up two apiece.

Tivy's defeat dropped their record down to 26-15. As for Boerne-Champion, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 34-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Tivy nor Boerne-Champion have any future games scheduled.
