Soccer Recap: Cape Fear Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Cape Fear Christian Academy managed to keep up with The Oakwood School until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cape Fear Christian Academy lost 4-1 to The Oakwood School. Cape Fear Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Oakwood School apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's goal came courtesy of Caden Scarborough, who's now up to two this season.

Cape Fear Christian Academy now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for The Oakwood School, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Cape Fear Christian Academy will face off against Christ the Cornerstone Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Oakwood School, they will take on Kerr-Vance Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
