Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. O'Dea

The Lincoln Lynx will head out on the road to face off against the O'Dea Fighting Irish at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lincoln fell victim to Puyallup and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Lynx have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, O'Dea lost 4-1 to Ballard on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their meetings with the Beavers: they've now lost five in a row.

Lincoln now has a losing record of 1-2. As for O'Dea, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Lincoln beat O'Dea 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
