Meanwhile, Clinton came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Woodruff by a score of 63-50.
Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Clinton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
