            Volleyball Recap: Kent Denver Sun Devils vs. Bennett Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Kent Denver had lost nine straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped down to 10-12 to make it ten. They fell just short of the Bennett Tigers by a score of  3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.

 Despite the loss, Kent Denver still got an impressive performance from   Valana Thompson, who  had 31  digs and two  aces. Thompson has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
As for Bennett, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record  this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory they have posted  since September 30th.
 Bennett was led to victory by  Mady Bavouset and  Kaylonnie Mclaury.  Bavouset  had ten  digs and three  aces, while  Mclaury  had ten  digs and two  assists. That's the most assists  Mclaury has posted since back in September.
 Kent Denver wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Denver Christian on the 30th. Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
