Softball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Takes a Loss

Mount Everett Regional managed to slip by Westfield Technical Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 22-7 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Mount Everett Regional dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Westfield Technical Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Mount Everett Regional will host Commerce at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.23 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Westfield Technical Academy, they will head out to square off against Putnam Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Beavers have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games.
