Basketball Game Preview: Grace Prep Lions vs. Southwest Christian School Eagles

The Grace Prep Lions will challenge the Southwest Christian School Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace Prep is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Grace Prep was beaten by Coram Deo Academy 63-30. The contest marked Grace Prep's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Southwest Christian School's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 47-34 defeat to Midland Christian.

Southwest Christian School's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 17-4. As for Grace Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Grace Prep came up short against Southwest Christian School when the teams last played back in November of 2023, falling 57-50. Can Grace Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
