Softball Recap: Hardeeville Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Hardeeville finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles, falling 16-1. The Canes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 30-27.

Hardeeville's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

As of now, neither Hardeeville nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
