The biggest upset of the week belonged to Town East Christian, who took down 108th ranked Town East Christian, 40-38.
Lifegate Christian extended the longest winning streak in TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 4 (6 Man) this week by beating New Life Christian, 56-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Smith threw for 14 and one touchdown and Matthew Smith had 14 yards receiving. On the ground Dante Johnson chipped in 211 yards. Tim Muenzler helped Town East Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for nine yards.
Hill Country Christian's Jordan Jeter and Frank Linam have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jeter has thrown for 302 yards this season, while Linam, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has four catches for 140 yards. Town East Christian's Johnson leads the league in rushing yards with 510.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Eagles take on Robert Davis's team. New Life Christian is currently in third, while the Eagles are in fourth.
Castle Hills First Baptist and Town East Christian played the most hotly contested game in TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 4 (6 Man) this week, with Castle Hills First Baptist eventually emerging with a 40-38 victory.
