Softball Game Preview: Alma Panthers vs. Glenn Bobcats

The Alma Panthers will challenge the Glenn Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alma will be strutting in after a win while Glenn will be coming in after a loss.

Alma's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Bridgeport 19-0. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Glenn unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Freeland.

Hadley Keister was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Olivia Duprey, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Alma, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.
