Agua Dulce never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over the Premont Cowboys. The Longhorns' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Agua Dulce was led to victory by Lane Ranly and Aiden Martinez. Ranly rushed for 81 yards and three scores on only ten carries, while Martinez gained 175 total yards and two touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Ranly a new career-high. John Aguilar was another key player, gaining 76 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Agua Dulce was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 167 rushing yards in three consecutive matches.

The victory got Agua Dulce back to even at 2-2. As for Premont, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Agua Dulce will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Premont, they will square off against Refugio at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
