Lennard won the last time they faced Plant City and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lennard had just enough and edged out Plant City 4-3.

Jv Brennick tossed a big game, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Lennard saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aj Aikens, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was R.J. Torres, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lennard's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Plant City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Lennard will head out on the road to square off against Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lennard's pitchers better be ready for this one: Riverview has averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Plant City, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Brandon at 7:00 p.m. Brandon has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.88 runs per game on average), something Plant City will no doubt try to take advantage of.
