Alyna Gilbert was a one-man wrecking crew for Columbus as she scored 17 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gilbert has scored at least a third of Columbus' points. Another player making a difference was Alexus Hammond, who scored nine points.

Columbus will be playing at home against Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crisp County, they will head out on the road to square off against Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crisp County is coming into the matchup with eight straight losses on the road, meaning Thomasville will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
