Olpe proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Burlingame Bearcats 2-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Olpe had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-10, 25-23.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up 12 kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 19 assists. Skalsky was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Olpe's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Burlingame, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-20-2.

Olpe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Northern Heights on the 11th. Burlingame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
