Basketball Game Preview: West Ashley Wildcats vs. Summerville Green Wave

West Ashley hasn't had much luck against Summerville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The West Ashley Wildcats will host the Summerville Green Wave at 8:30 p.m. West Ashley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.

West Ashley is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Stall: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that West Ashley blew Stall out of the water with a 79-34 final score. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Summerville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-49 heartbreaker at the hands of Ashley Ridge. While the Green Wave didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Swamp Foxes 18-14 in the first quarter.

Summerville's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for West Ashley, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
