Ravenscroft is 8-2 against Durham Academy since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Durham Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 78-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jordan on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (62), the Cavaliers still had to take the loss.

Ravenscroft will have to contain JJ Wilcox as he made an impact in Durham Academy's last game. He went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points and six rebounds. What's more, Wilcox also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joe Ruth, who posted 13 points.

Durham Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Ravenscroft, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
